5 1/2 months

Just some new pics I took of Lily this week! <3

5 months old

My little monkey is 5 months old!! Actually shes just a couple days shy of 5 1/2 months. It still seems like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital- but then again i cant really remember our lives without her- =) isn't that strange! being a stay at home mom only gets better and better! i know its flying by but i never miss anything- so at the same time i don't really feel like its going by too fast! I'M DEFINITELY VERY LUCKY~!  so here is what miss Lily is up to these days!

She still wears 0-3 months clothes but can wear most of her 3-6 months clothes too

She is in between size 1 and 2 diapers... FYI they sell Pampers 1-2 size diapers at Sams!! pretty cool!

She probably weighs about 13 or 14 lbs which is over double her birth weight!

She absolutely LOVES veggies~

She is eating 3 meals a day- 

breakfast- fruit and oatmeal cereal 

lunch- a fruit or a veggie

dinner- veggie

She has her two bottom teeth! 

She LOVES her feet!

She is SOOOOOO happy when she wakes up! even from naps *actually theres not much that makes her mad- dirty diaper or too sleepy*

She smiles aprox. 200 times a day! Ü

She has mastered the johnny jumper!

She can pretty much sit up!

She LOVES mickey mouse clubhouse!

Shes still sleeping in our room at night-

She still wakes up at about 3:30 for a feeding

 We just recently got back from a short trip to Alabama- at my friend Ambers house- she has a little girl *payton* that's almost 2- actually she was born on the day after my wedding day! anyway, we took them swimming and to the zoo! Lilys first zoo trip! she wasn't really into it- i mean she had a blast watching all the other kids- and there were a few times we got to get pretty close to some animals like kangaroos, goats, and flamingos- so she definitely didn't know what to think about that! =) we rode the train a couple times too so that was fun- especially all the nuts and bolts around our seat!! lol Lily wants to be big so bad! you can see it in her eyes- wishing she could get up and run around! she actually just started pulling her knees up in the crawling position and rocking!! so i know it wont be too long until shes into EVERYTHING- maybe i should get to baby proofing! oh and we also got her an exer-saucer! WHICH SHE LOVES!!!

I tell you what- being Lily's mommy has been the greatest gift from God!! i love her with every inch of my being! and every day with her only gets better and better!!! Until next time! <3
